South Siam III & IV are stationed in the Similans and cruise between the Similan Islands and as far north as the Surin Islands continuously. Transfers run daily to either of these two sister boats so they are ideal for people who are on a tight schedule with no (or little) flexibility in departure date. You can choose to stay as many nights as you wish.
The boats alternate between the far northen Surin Islands & Richelieu Rock so it is always possible to transfer to one or the other of the boats. Transfers back are possible 5 days a week when the boat isn't visiting the far north dive sites.
Perfect Departure Date Flexibility
The dive sites you get to see are entirely dependant on when you choose to board and what part of the tour the boat is on. Each day you get the opportunity for 4 dives with the exception of your departure day when you do 3. On Mondays and Thursdays South Siam 3 is up at Richelieu Rock and the Surin Islands. On Wednesdays and Sundays South Siam 4 is at the northern sites. On these days transfers to and from whichever boat is in the north are not done due to the distance.
It is usually possible to fit in some excellent overnight diving into your holiday with these boats no matter how strict your schedule.
