June Hong Chian Lee or "The Junk" as she is more commonly known has been taking divers out to the Similan Islands and the far northern sites of Koh Tachai and The Surin Islands for many years. She is a well known sight in Patong bay. She has been used by film crews on several occasions - once in the Bond movie "The Man With The Golden Gun". As such she is well known and a popular boat so booking early is recommended.
Her cabins are beatifully fitted out in old Thai hardwood and she offers you 6 cabins with a combination of Quad, Triple, Twin and Double cabins. All are En-Suite. She has a further two communal bathrooms with hot showers. Often as people regularly travel as couples or pairs of friends the triple cabins only have two people in, so her full complement of 18 guests is not regularly met. At 33m length and 8.5m beam she is very spacious for such a low number of people even when full. In total she has over 150sqm of deck area for relaxation and recreation. With a complement of 10 crew you are also very well looked after.

The Best Andaman Sea Sites on the Famous Junk You board on Saturday evening in Phuket between 6pm and 9pm with a 9pm departure to cruise overnight to the Similan Islands. The next 5 days will introduce you to the spectacular diving that the Andaman Sea has to offer.
Every day offers 4 dives, one of which is a night or sunset dive. Between dives you can relax on-board or depending on where you are diving you may have the opportunity to visit some of the deserted island beaches and explore.
The dive sites explored begin with those at the Similan Islands and then you steadily make your way north to Koh Bon, Tachai, Richelieu and Surin. The exact sites are at the discretion of the trip director and skipper based on weather conditions and currents as well as the number of dive boats on a particular dive site.
If you have any particular dive site preferences or wish to dive more (or less) in one particular area then the crew are happy to oblige within schedule constraints and assuming the majority of the guests on board agree and tides and weather allow.
Your final day you do 3 dives before you cruise overnight back to Phuket. Your time on this spectacular "Taste Of Old Siam" vessel we promise you will never forget. . .
